It yields an amazingly sharp picture that is plainly visible in all kinds of lighting. I only shake my head and feel sorry for people who try to watch movies on the tiny iPod monitor. There’s no reason to put yourself through something like that, purchasing something for its name only, when you have the better Archos MP3 player within your fingertips.
A really cool thing about the Archos MP3 player that I don’t have to be tied up to the PC to handle all my contents. Because it has a straightforward WiFi connection, I am able to do all of my downloading on the go. Moreover, the included Opera web browser makes it effortless for me to surf the Internet, check my email, and play games wherever I am — something that’s not possible with most other devices out there. Most of the other brands leave you stuck in the mud when you’re not at a laptop and you can’t do an update until you are.
If you really think about making the acquisition of a portable media player, don’t just do what everybody else does and purchase one of those high-priced iPods just because of what it is. I absolutely recommend giving the Gen 5 Archos MP3 player a whirl. They are a lot more sophisticated technologically and they have better prices than all of the competition.
