Why is my iPod touch battery running out so quickly?

Well i jailbroke my iPod. I even made it into an iPhone, now to battery is going 1% every 62 seconds…idk what to do…im not allowed to hack things anymore btw so..i just want to know

well if your ipod is not jailbroken anymore then restore you ipod and not from back up set it up as a new ipod and then when you are not using the wifi make sure that you turn it off and also turn of the auto-brightness both those 2 things take up a lot of battery life.
