| This is the second time i've purchased this case and both times have been great. It works perfectly and something new I discovered was the failsafe breakaway beltclip. If you bend it too fAR a certain way or put enough pressure on it it breaks itself away and all you have to do is clip it back together. My number one feature is the skeleton that keeps the phone rigid beneath the silicone skin. AWESOME PRODUCT. everyone should have one if u bought an iPhone. INVEST IN YOUR INVESTMENT!!! |

This is a great case if you're looking for one that is tight-fitting and protective. Its tire-tread design feels good in your hand and seems like it would absorb a lot of the impact of a drop (though this hasn't been tested yet.) I also have the Otterbox Impact which I also like, but one key difference is that this Speck attracts lint to its skin, whereas the Otterbox Impact does not. This is decreasing as the case gets older, though. The Speck is bulkier and seems like it would absorb more impact than the Otterbox.
The Speck comes with a plastic phone-holding belt clip which is an added feature, and although it fits tightly, there's something about it that I don't always trust. Don't let that stop you from getting this case. I've seen it at that "fruity" retail store for aroungd $35, so it's a bargain here!

| This skin/case works great. I applied the included screen protector in just a few minutes and the skin fits perfectly, all the buttons line up with my iPhone 3Gs. It's not loose or wobbly. I was a bit skeptical after reading all the review that said this case was huge and super rugged, really big, etc. It's actually not that big, to me. Granted, this is our first iPhone and first skin, and I haven't tried anything thinner. It has a matte black "tire tread" look, which makes nice finger grip. We just got it, so we'll see how it holds up. But overall, I wouldn't be too concerned about it being overly bulky. It seems just perfect to protect such an expensive device as an iPhone. |
