| I love this case! I had a Blackberry before my iPhone and I dropped it on a daily basis. When I upgraded I looked for a cover that covered the edges but wasn't bulky. This one is perfect! |
CUTE oh right and useful.

This is my second iFrogz Luxe case.
The first broke over the course of wear and tear, but first the thin black piece at the bottom of the iPhone/charger snapped off. Then awhile later the side of the black piece snapped.
But! Here I am with my second one, instead of finding another. WHY, you ask?
Because it's a super cute color, and it's cheap! |
not sturdy!

The case looks good in the beginning, but has 3 serious issues:
1. The two pieces come apart all the time, when you pull the phone out of your pocket or any somewhat constricted space. They just don't clip together well enough. This may not seem too important, but it can become very frustrating and eventually result in damage of the case (see point 2).
2. The little clips that hold the pieces together WILL break. Both mine and my boyfriend's case have broken the same way. This is because you have to put it together all the time, as the pieces just come apart by themselves, and you have to be very careful doing so, as the construction is flimsy and the pieces will not always naturally come together right (e.g. the black part will slide outside the pink even though it's supposed to be the other way around). Good thing is, even if they break you can still use the case, as the pieces were never held together well enough to begin with (see point 1), but it's doubtful how well it will protect your phone.
3. It actually messes with my screen protector. The case covers just a little bit of the front of the phone where the screen protector sticks. This creates bubbles on the two bottom corners, which have proven impossible for me to get rid of no matter how hard I try. I have tried with two different protectors (and good quality ones) but they are not the problem. The problem is due to the case itself. It seems to be a construction defect as the amount of bubble creating pressure seems to be different on mine and my boyfriend's phone.
I kept this case for about 3 weeks and then I got a sliding 2-piece casecrown, which I am actually happy with. |
Just didn't work

| I loved the color and the feel of the material, but this case was really difficult to put on my phone and would come apart nearly every time I tried to take it out of my pocket, or the pockets in my bag, or even when unplugging it from the power cable. After just a few months of use it's totally unusable--the little tabs that are supposed to hold it together are cracked and it will not stay on at all. Really disappointing! |
