This case chipped and broke pretty quickly. I'm not terribly rough on my case, but getting bumped around in my purse and pocket was enough to break this one down.
I had to replace it within 6 months. I might get another iFrogz case, when I replace the one i currently have. But we'll see.

| I decided to wait until I've used the case for a while before doing my review. I use my iPhone constantly for calls,music, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and lots of other apps. The case (black/orange)has retained it's original colors and there are no signs of it wearing off at the corners as other reviewers have noted. I've dropped the phone a few times and the case has always saved the day. Once I dropped it with the touch screen face down and I was sure that the glass was going to crack. I was so pleased to see that the glass was intact...thanks to the fact that the case prevents it from touching the floor. I'm back to Amazon buying one for my sister and my son also wants one. It's a great price. My last case cost me $20 at the AT&T store, it was ugly and it didn't last more than 6 months. There may be some of these cases that might be defective- it's hard to argue that point but I think that I got lucky with this one. |
Broke after 2 weeks

This is my 3rd iPhone case.
My dad has the same one (different color).
I don't think my dad has had any problems, but mine broke after just 2 weeks.
I don't like the "sticker" style screen protectors, so I bought "Clear Protector" to cover the touch screen (HIGHLY recommended). First off, the iFrogz doesn't fit with this style protector, so it started peeling it off as soon as I put it on.
The case is a 2 piece case that snaps together (easy to remove). However, there is a button on the back which you push to remove the case. This "button" stopped clicking into its spot after about 3 tries. The case started slipping apart right away.
Now, a couple weeks later (after having to push it back together almost every time I pulled the iPhone out of my pocket), one of the 2 tabs that holds the case pieces together snapped off, and now the case is entirely useless.
If it could stand the test of time, it'd be great. Unfortunately, that just wasn't the case for me. |
