| This gadget has a fake solar panel in it....that's why you have to plug it in. Don't waste your money. |

| It worked twice, after that the first problem was the solar panel didn't show it was getting light even though it was right in the sun. Then it started showing it was in enough light but didn't charge the ipod. And from day one it didn't fit the ipod, was to loose and kept falling off. FORGET THIS ITEM! |

| I don't understand how amazon could lend its name to this device. It comes with no instructions. I took it on a backtracking trip and placed it in the sun for 30 minutes. The iPhone got very hot--there was a message on the phone's screen not to use the phone until it had cooled down. And, as far as I could tell, no charge had taken place. |
