Keep Multiple Passwords
As the internet grows, more and more people come online. Gone are the days when there used to be just one main site, allowing you to only have one password. There are now so many cracking sites around, but what a vast quantity of people are doing is literally using the same password on every single site. This is not only dangerous but you could potentially make a huge loss. If a hacker gets access to one of your passwords all they have to do is Google your name and see most of your online accounts. They will still be able to get access to a vast pool of your online accounts and deminish your identity. Lets have a look at some of the accounts that the hackers may be able to get access too.
Banks
This would probably be the worst situation, could you imagine if your bank account got hacked and the hacker was able to see all of your account details and remove money from there. You may not think this happens, but United kingdom and global on-line fraud is increasing by the day.
Sites and Profiles
Although this is not as extreme, it is still an invasion of your privacy, and once they get into your sites files they will be able to hurt your business. If they get into your profiles than this can again hurt you as you never know what confidential communication you may have in there.
Online gambling, especially online poker has increased a huge amount and people have a lot of money stored in their gambling accounts. Again if you do not have a unique password in place it will be so easy for a hacker to log in a spend all of your accumulated funds.
