Believe it or not, questions about cases, skins, and covers for the SciPhone are among the most common questions that I receive. Many people ask if there are hard, leather, or rubber covers available for this phone. Another common question is whether a regular iPhone case will fit the SciPhone. Will A Standard iPhone Case Fit A SciPhone?: Besides the draw of the i68+ being cheaper than the original model, another big draw is that it’s a bit sleeker and lighter than the Apple model. These connect to a belt or pocket to allow you to have easy access to the phone.

Also, there is the plastic covers that stick onto the touch screen of the phone to help protect it from smudges and scratches. These stick to the phone‘s front whereas the covers cover the housing of the phone. Both are important in keeping your phone looking like new and free from scratches, nicks, and cracks.

Costs, Pricing, And Availability: Lately, I’ve not seen any of these coverings for over $5, even the leather ones. In general, the skins are probably the cheapest at only a few dollars and the leather is probably the most expensive. But, all of them are inexpensive and are worth the cost to protect the investment of your phone. While you admittedly might not be able to find these at your local retail store or super center, they are readily available online from a variety of vendors.
